With our sister market, the Prospect Community Farmers' Market, we held 20 market pickup dates providing Spryfield and Prospect Communities access to locally grown and produced items. Together, we sold over $44,500 worth of products in support of small, local businesses.

Want to ask candid or awkward questions about living with mental illness?  This is your chance. Our host, Stephanie Osberg, will be talking to Brad Rowe from the Healthy Minds Cooperative and we will be talking about our experience as people who speak publicly about living with mental illness.

The Spryfield Santa Claus Parade is the longest running Santa Claus Parade east of Montreal. with 46 years under it’s bell this parade is a wonderful way to bring Spryfield together. The Spryfield Farmers Market is happy to Sponsor and participate in the parade this year again.

The parade usually begins at the Irving on Punch Bowl Drive at 2 p.m. and continues along Herring Cove Road to Dentith Road before concluding at the South Centre Mall (Canadian Tire/Lawtons/No Frills). Residents throughout the municipality are invited to come out to enjoy the event.

Presented by the Spryfield and District Business Commission, the Spryfield Santa Claus Parade is a community oriented event designed for one and all.  The parade’s main objective is to put a “Christmas Smile” on the young and the young at heart.  This traditional Christmas event is organized by local volunteers and is always well attended by many people from near and far.

Here is a few things to consider if you’d like to participate:

WHAT TO BRING: Warm jacket, hat, gloves - Costumes (No Santa pls)

PARKING:  If at all possible, park your car in the South Centre Mall parking lot or on adjacent streets from Punch Bowl Drive.  

Meeting spot: Punch Bowl will be closed starting at 12pm. We will meet at our designated place at 1pm.
